What tea is good for headaches?

What's your headache remedy? It could be an over the counter drugs, right? Maybe a few hours of sleep but how about if you're at work or in the middle of something then headache struck again? In this blog, we're going to explore some tea remedies to get rid of headaches.

There are many types of headaches and caused by many factors. Sinus headaches, hormone headaches, caffeine headaches, hypertension headaches, caffeine headaches (so guys, more tea - less coffee :D ), and the most common type of headaches- migraine. Heck, even a simple math problem give me headache. Staring at your monitor or smartphone can give you a temporary headache. So after reading this whole blog, go ahead and give your self a "screen break" for at least an hour.

While many of us can't resist and inevitably can get headaches in the future, here are some type of teas that will help you that pain in your head. BUT why tea? On top of its countless health benefits, Tea is a very good way of soothing tense, has a calming effect, and a study reveals that some tea content can bring relief from aches and pains instantly just like painkillers.


Preparation
: In a cup of boiling water, add a teaspoon of ground clove for 10 minutes, serve and enjoy.

Note: If you're under medication please consult your doctor before consuming clove tea.

: In a cup of boiling water, add few dried fever leaves for 30 minutes, serve and enjoy.

Note: Feverfew Tea might cause mouth irritation for those people who have sensitive skin. Make sure to put more water and fewer leaves.
  
 
 

Preparation: In a cup of boiling water, put 1-2 teaspoons of dried meadowsweet flowers for 10 minutes. Strain and let it cool a bit. Add a few drops of honey and drink it.

This list is just some few of many many health benefits of tea, so next time you get a headache try something from one of tea we have mentioned before going to painkillers. Relying on those kinds of medication is not really good to the human body and can harm you in the long run. Did I forget to mention that tea tastes better than medicines?
